Max was originally given a scholarship to do PhD at the London School of Economics, but decided to go straight into business. He set up ReboundTAG, the first microchip luggage tag that works in all airports worldwide, which was showcased by Lufthansa as a way of preventing lost luggage worldwide and went on to win many entrepreneurship awards.
In 2013 he was invited into Parliament to discuss economics and in 2014 hired to run an economics think tank for a member of Parliament. He has since joined the boards of two other political economics think tanks based in London and Brussels. Max organised the 5-day long Blockchain Summit in the European Parliament in 2016 (https://www.cobdencentre.org/2016/04/the-cobden-centre-organises-first-digital-currencies-conference-in-any-parliament-worldwide/) and moderated the Future of Artificial Intelligence roundtable discussions in the European Parliament earlier this year; contributors included the United Nations, IMF, OECD and companies like Intel. Max has given speeches around the world on technology and economics, including at the OECD, in the European Parliament and at the IMF headquarters.
Max set up Paywhatyouwant.io when he saw it succeeding in smaller areas of e-commerce and realised that it could revolutionise much of how we do business with digital products online.

Originally a Banker and Futures Trader, Marc spent the bulk of his career in the telecoms space and was first-to-market with logos and ringtones which went on to become a multi-million-dollar industry in its own right. A decade later, he launched the world’s first fundraising celebrity chatline, which was featured on CNN, ABC, Howard Stern and the Wendy Williams Show.
An English/German dual national, in 2009 he started his own boutique consultancy company to help US companies expand into Europe. As part of this work, he was appointed Senior Vice-President at Gottesman Company, America’s largest network of independent M&A Brokers. He now helps UK SME’s mitigate the risks associated with Brexit by helping them form a legal entity in Europe’s largest and richest market as a form of hedge or insurance policy.
A Disruptive Game Changing Power Connector, Marc’s LinkedIn recommendations are testament to his voracious networking skills, both virtually and in the real world. When asked what he does for a living, he simply tells people he ‘connects dots’.
Marc looks forward to playing a key role in the world’s first Pay What You Want online digital marketplace.
